Sofia Ladies and the champion NSA play at 0:5 in a match of the last 26th round of the women's football championship. Jessica Kots (1', 43') and Polina Rusina (23', 25') each scored two goals in the first half, and Polina Demirova added one goal (38'). The match was broadcast live on Sportal YouTube channel.
NSA opened the scoring in the first minute. Jessica Coates was put in an excellent shooting position and coolly beat Tsveta Dimitrova.
Shortly after, NSA goalkeeper Vanessa Viktorova was injured and had to be forced to be replaced by Annabel Nikolova.
In the 10th minute, Tsveta Dimitrova made two good saves - first against Polina Rusina, and then against Jessica Kots. In the next few minutes, there were many shots at the goal of Sofia Ladies, but they did not have the necessary accuracy.
In the middle of the first half, Polina Rusina intercepted Desislava Yordanova's cross and doubled her team's lead with a header.
Just 120 seconds later, Rusina again found herself uncovered in close proximity to the goal to intercept Bozhidara Ivanova's pass from the right wing to set up the classic score.
In the 38th minute, Kots brought Polina Demirova into the opponent's penalty area, and with her first touch, she sent the ball into the net of the symbolic home team for the fourth time.
Ivelina Pavlova also came close to scoring, but her powerful shot from long range was saved by Tsveta Dimitrova, who managed to knock the ball into the side post.
Two minutes before the break, Jessica Coates made the most of a defensive error by Sofia Ladies to make the score even more telling.
