Botev (Plovdiv) midfielder Dylan Mertens will play next season in Torch (Voronezh) , the Russian club announced. The 29-year-old Dutchman joins the team as a free agent.

The player will undergo medical examinations by the end of the week, after which the official presentation will follow.

Mertens played 74 games for Botev (Plovdiv), in which he scored 6 goals and provided 5 assists. The Dutchman also won the Bulgarian Cup this season, after Plovdiv beat Ludogorets in the final with 3:2.
