Why did they push part of the Building center of the Pulevi brothers?

They demolished part of the sports center of the Pulevi brothers in the "Lozenets" district of the capital. Tervel Pulev told NOVA that it was a question of self-will on the part of an investor who intends to erect a 19-story building with underground parking in the area.

"You can see where they entered the building with heavy equipment, then they blocked it with plasterboard," explained Tervel Pulev.

"If the columns are pushed with an excavator, the whole building will fall," commented Diana Nenova, Pulev's wife.

According to Tervel, in this case it is a matter of illegal actions.

"The so-called PBZ for demolishing part of the buildings is not true, because this is one building. It can be seen from the cadastre. Here there is a blind eye of the state authorities," Pulev believes.

The investor refused to be on camera. But he explained that what was demolished was 100% the property of the company he represented. And that private legal issues will be defended in court.

The "Lozenets" district explained that according to the adopted detailed development plan, it is planned to have an underground garage with two buildings, while the sports center will also be preserved. They are categorical that all requirements have been met.

"We have complied with the letter of the law. There is nothing more we can do. Actions are to be taken by the administration of the City Council. With an order from the mayor, it will be decided what needs to be done to strengthen the building," commented Vitan Vlahov, Deputy - mayor of "Lozenets" district.

And until the court decides in whose favor they will tip the scales, they will soon be met with protests from the sports center.
